Le Monde Livre PTF - Tom Grace: typeface design, font development, and lettering
Le Monde Livre PTF basic charset

Le Monde Livre, which first appeared in 1997, was, in contrast to Le Monde Journal, designed for setting more commonplace sizes (above 10 points). Designed by Jean François Porchez, it was updated in 2008 for OpenType. Le Monde Livre PTF’s character set is consolidated and extended to total more than 700 characters, and each font includes typographic refinements, like small caps, dynamic fractions, and various figure sets.

Role: Character design, kerning, hinting, font family assembly, production, and font testing.
