Vesta SC - Tom Grace: typeface design, font development, and lettering
Vesta SC basic charset

Vesta is a seven-weight type family created in 2001 by Gerard Unger, and contains very open counters for high legibility, a narrow body for economy of space, and shallow curves that are resistant to the practice of horizontal scaling commonly seen in newspapers and magazines. Big Vesta, following in 2003, was reworked with a much larger x-height than Vesta. Small capitals and oldstyle figures for both Vesta and Big Vesta families were requested to round out the families, and were released in 2007.

Role: Character design, kerning, font family assembly, font testing.
